Brunner, Birmingham mahogany cased twin fusee drop dial.(ref. 3011)
A good quality English twin fusee drop dial in a mahogany case with extensive brass inlay. The 12 inch white convex dial is inscribed with the name I Brunner, Birmingham, and is complemented by a cast brass bezel with convex glass. The mahogany dial surround and bottom door are fitted with locks, and there is a brass framed lenticle window showing the pendulum bob. Ignatius Brunner was working in Birmingham between 1835 and 1860, and he also made musical boxes and barometers. Height 31 inches, dial surround 18 inches.

12" wire fusee wall dial timepiece in Mahogany case.(ref. 2965)
A wire fusee timepiece by Astral of Coventry. The dark mahogany case with pegged backbox, side access door and lockable bottom door. The 12 inch white painted dial features Roman numerals and is surrounded by a cast brass bezel. The whole timepiece is in excellent condition

Parsons & Son, drop dial timepiece, Bristol C1880 (Ref 799)
A single fusee drop dial timepiece set in a mahogany case, and featuring brass lenticular window, side access doors and bottom door with brass lock and escutcheon. The white 9 inch dial has Roman numerals and the inscription Parson & Son, Metal Exchange Buildings, City. Parson & Son were located in the City of Bristol 1882 - 1899. The movement with shouldered plates is a 8 day with gut line fusee. Height 20 inches.

Thomas Joyce, Whitchurch, Shropshire.(ref 3020)
An original trunk dial timepiece with a 8 day weight driven movement. The solid mahogany case features ebonised cock beading to the trunk door and the dial surround (both with locks). Other features include brass escutcheons and side access doors with catches. The 17 inch white convex dial is inscribed with the name Thos Joyce, Whitchurch. Thomas Joyce was born in 1793 and was the son of James Joyce. In 1834 Thomas started the manufacture of large clocks for public buildings. The Joyce family of clockmakers are well renowned.
Height 55 inches, dial surround 22 inches.

Camerer Cuss & Co, London C1860 (Ref 939)
An oak cased trunk dial timepiece with a 15 inch painted dial inscribed with the name Camerer Cuss & Co, 54 & 56 New Oxford St, London. The single train weight driven movement of 7 day duration has anchor escapement. The case features a bulls eye lenticle and brass bezel. Camerer Kuss & Co was founded in 1788 by Johann Kamerer in London, the company later anglicized the name by changing the K to a C.
